AI high on the agenda at Health Data Analytics 2019

AI and machine learning, practical applications of data analytics, genomics, and data interoperability are all on the agenda at the Health Data Analytics conference being held in Sydney from October 16 to 17.Organised by the Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA), keynote speakers include Stanford University's Prashant Natarajan, who will discuss global perspectives for AI and data analytics in healthcare.Local speakers include Farah Magrabi and Enrico Coiera from the Centre for Health Informatics at Macquarie University, who will discuss health data safety and AI in healthcare respectively.A masterclass on modernising health data architectures for AI initiatives will be led by Jon Teo of Informatica, and there will be a debate on whether AI will improve healthcare to a degree which makes the risks irrelevant.
