4TH ANNUAL IOT, BIG DATA HEALTHCARE SUMMIT

June 11-12, 2019 | Canada

IoT, Big Data Healthcare Summit is gathering healthcare professionals and solution providers under one roof from past three years in Toronto. This ideal platform provides an opportunity to know, learn and discuss intelligent tech which is reshaping the healthcare sector i.e., IoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Augmented Reality and, Virtual Reality etc. The biggest challenge in the Canadian hospitals is the access. Most Canadians have timely access to world-class care for urgent and emergent problems like strokes, heart attacks and, cancer care. But for many less urgent problems, they typically wait as long as many months or even years. Similarly, many seniors who are not acutely ill also wait in hospitals for assignment to a long-term care facility, for months and it’s not just accessibility that is the problem.

Spotlight

Cyber-attackers are constantly developing and deploying more sophisticated attacks. They employ new methods that make it harder for existing detection solutions to identify the threats. Those charged with protecting their organization’s data have to look for new solutions. New attacks require new approaches to the problems. SecBI’s approach is to use machine learning based on cluster analysis. Machine learning is a kind of artificial intelligence that involves computer programs capable of learning and changing when exposed to new data. Cluster analysis means grouping together similar or related datapoints that are found throughout the network, making it possible to reveal unusual patterns of activity and detect attacks that would not be detectable by analyzing a single point. Analyzing clusters of activities make it much easier to identify attacks that would otherwise remain undetected.
