Tableau introduced new features today at Salesforce TrailblazerDX '22, enabling developers to integrate, extend, and personalize analytics on any project.

Many businesses are already using data as a strategic differentiator to better serve their consumers and enhance their operations. However, successfully leveraging data can bring obstacles for developers, such as getting data into the correct locations or designing an analytics-focused architecture.

Francois Ajenstat, Chief Product Officer for Tableau at Salesforce said that "We're letting our data developer community unleash its creativity with a flexible platform to help even more people see and understand data. Our goal is to bring analytics in the flow of work by enabling developers to discover the data they need, leverage visualization and trusted exploration capabilities, and integrate analytics into their own applications."

Tableau assists businesses in customizing, integrating, and deploying analytics directly into applications, products, and web portals in order to promote better and quicker decision making. Tableau's Developer Platform contains application programming interfaces (APIs) and software development kits (SDKs) that allow anybody to expand and personalize the capabilities of Tableau.

"Every organization is unique, and every organization can benefit from the flexibility of Tableau's Developer Platform. Tableau offers the APIs and developer tools needed to quickly and efficiently embed, extend and customize analytics to fit any business."

One of Tableau's top development objectives is to provide embedded analytics, which allows anybody to integrate analytics into their own products and services. Tableau Embedded Analytics enables data developers to include Tableau's market-leading analytical experiences into their products and apps, providing data-driven insights to their users and customers.

Amenallah Reghimi, Vice President, Product Management, JAGGAER said that "JAGGAER gives organizations the intelligence and analytics they need to make confident and strategic decisions around how they buy and sell. Tableau's Embedded Analytics technology has been a key part of this journey and has empowered our customers with deeper, actionable insights to drive their business forward."

Organizations gain tremendously from embedded analytics. "Business users benefit from case-specific analysis into their work flow, pushing up data-driven decision making," according to Gartner®1. It also "allows ISVs to deliver a complete range of analytics and business intelligence (ABI) capabilities at scale without incurring the expense and effort associated with building them."

JAGGAER, which is leading the charge toward Autonomous Commerce, utilizes Tableau to enable its clients to curate data sources, consume and create dashboards, and execute self-service analytics, providing the organization with deep visibility, insight, and recommendations across supply chains.

Tableau is also providing it simpler for developers to post services like as Dashboard Extensions, Connectors, and Tableau Accelerators to the Tableau Exchange, the primary center for launching analytics. Tableau Partner Network developers can now submit, publish, and manage offers on the Exchange, with a simpler submission interface and better insight into how products are doing.
