WebPT Introduces Data Availability and Information Security Capabilities

WebPT Introduces Data Availability and Information Security Capabilities

On February 15, 2023, WebPT, a renowned rehabilitation therapy platform for boosting patient care and driving business growth, announced new enterprise capabilities in data availability and information security for the rehabilitation therapy sector. The improved features include enterprise identity management, upgraded single sign-on (SSO) capabilities, in-app history reporting, and an extensive data warehousing solution.

New enterprise capabilities on the WebPT platform include the following:

  • Upgraded Single Sign-On (SSO) and Enterprise Identity Management: WebPT clients (referred to as Members) will be able to access several WebPT apps throughout the platform using a single identity after upgrading to an authentication solution provided by Auth0. The improved SSO solution includes advanced security features such as bot identification, brute force detection, breached password protection, suspicious IP detection and reputation protection. Furthermore, enterprises with corporate identity security requirements and the need to integrate with other identity management providers to monitor credentials throughout the business can upgrade to WebPT's Federated SSO.
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse: WebPT's enterprise-level data warehouse and Advanced Analytics solution, powered by Snowflake's Business Critical Edition technology, provides one of the most advanced data solutions in the rehabilitation therapy business. The Snowflake platform adheres to the most stringent security and compliance regulations, distributing data through a multi-cluster architecture that is HIPAA-, PCI-, and HITRUST CSF-certified.
  • In-App History and Auditing: WebPT's in-app history improvements offer administrators more significant and precise visibility to past user activity logs, including recent additions and modifications performed within WebPT apps. Similarly, the advanced audit reporting solution will provide Members with greater insights into their usage data as well as the ability to search and export data across a wide range of dates. These enhanced audit features will be accessible first in the WebPT EMR, then in the WebPT Billing and Tasking application later in 2023.
