Dremio Announces the Industry’s First SQL Lakehouse Service to Accelerate BI and Analytics

Dremio, the SQL lakehouse company, today announced its cloud-native SQL-based data lakehouse service, Dremio Cloud. Built for the purpose of the cloud, Dremio Cloud makes cloud data lakes 10x easier and deliver an infinite scale and industry-leading security. It empowers organizations of all sizes to leverage a no-copy open data architecture eliminating the need to copy data into costly and exclusive data warehouses.

Dremio Cloud has reimagined the traditional data lake by combining the best of traditional data warehouses and data lakes into an SQL warehouse. It has also removed the limitations of a traditional data warehouse thus eradicating the cost and complexity of copying and moving data.

A user can be up and running with the Dremio Cloud in just five minutes while most data lake engines take weeks or months to get into production. The onboarding option is automatic and it establishes the necessary connection to the user’s AWS account while allowing the data consumers to connect through their favorite tools and start data querying instantly.
