Data analytics firm e.fundamentals signs up former Skyscanner director as chief technology officer

Ecommerce analytics firm e.fundamentals has appointed former Skyscanner director Greg Urquhart as chief technology officer. Urquhart, who ill be based in Edinburgh with the company’s development operations team, said he wanted to make it the "Skyscanner of the ecommerce analytics world". London-headquartered e.fundamentals aims to give clients the edge by constantly tracking products on their websites and those of their wholesalers and retailers. It presents data to them in real-time via the company's dashboards, allowing them to react to trends in customer behaviour quickly. Urquhart was director of product delivery for Edinburgh-founded Skyscanner, the fare search site, for three and a half years. He said: “My aim is to make e.fundamentals the Skyscanner of the ecommerce analytics world. e.fundamentals has the same inspiring DNA as Skyscanner and there are great similarities between the top people of both companies.”
