ESG survey: Storage spending habits become ‘hybrid-cloud-defined’

Analyst survey finds cloud is used as a way to make storage more efficient, but organisations are also bringing cloud apps back into the datacentre and spending on in-house capacity. Use of cloud storage is on the rise as a way of gaining capacity without affecting on-premise spend. But at the same time, organisations have pulled some workloads back from the cloud and are saving money by using software-defined storage.
