New autonomous AI-powered camera released

Remo Technology, a Shenzhen-based AI company, has unveiled a new autonomous camera capable of tracking subjects using AI technology. The device was debuted during the CES Sports Zone Innovation Showcase, the idea being that athletes such as skateboarders and basketball players can utilize it to record themselves without the need for human director. The new camera, called the OBSBOT Tail, has an optical zoom lens capable of shooting 4K video and pivoting 360 degrees. It uses "Intelligent Shooting" to follow subjects, set certain types of framing, such as upper body only, and can even be controlled through hand gestures to initiate recording. Remo Technology founder and CEO Bo Liu said in a press release: "The OBSBOT Tail is a ground-breaking camera that makes sophisticated filming techniques and filming complex movements readily accessible to anyone, with just a tap of a button.
