Brad Keywell's Big Data startup, Uptake, definitely has the "big" part figured out. Headcount has more than doubled in the past year to some 650 at its River North HQ and a satellite office in Naperville, making it one of Chicago's fastest-growing tech companies. It's also valued at more than $1 billion, putting it in an exclusive group of fewer than 100 privately held "unicorns" in the nation.
