Datavision Technologies was established in 1996 by Sherry Marek and Sudharshan Chary, with the primary goal of bringing a data warehousing/business intelligence system to the hospitality industry. Headquartered in the Fort Lauderdale area in Florida, Datavision is well respected in the hospitality industry with several major hotel companies as customers-Intrawest Resorts, American Skiing Company, InterContinental Hotels, Interstate Hotels, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, etc. Initial installations in 1997 included South Seas Resorts and the Los Angeles InterContinental Hotel. Today, Datavision has almost a hundred installations throughout the United States and Canada - from large resorts and spas to downtown business properties to multi-property installations where the system is used to track performance across the enterprise.
