For many, robotic process automation (RPA) has appeared to be the best bet for cutting costs quickly. Insurance is a data-driven industry, with high-volume, repetitive manual processes. So if a software robot can do a human’s job faster and better, without ever getting tired or bored, then switching to bots would seem to be a no-brainer, right? Well, not exactly.
